Just more stuff

I don't know what to think of this whole economic issue.  Looks to me like it was CREDIT (borrowing money that didn't exist) that did this in the first place.  Now the gov't wants to "borrow" money from the taxpayers (us) to bail out these companies.  As Jay Leno said, "if WE do bad WE pay.  If THEY do bad WE pay."   I get really fried when I think about some fancy big-time CEO bailing from a failed company making 9 million dollars.  If I couldn't pay my mortgage, would the gov't help me?  I don't think so.  After months of saying we'd get through this, all of a sudden we're TRILLIONS of dollars in the red-and the "experts" are now admitting this situation was 10 years in the making.  If they had their heads in the sand for all this time, can you tell me why they weren't fired? 

Bottom line.  The Fed, and all of these financial companies in turmoil have just done a poor job at running their businesses.  If YOU did your job that way how long do you think you'd be employed?
